Deo Tibba Trek

 

Deo Tibba is a technical peak set back in the Manali valley; Deo Tibba is popular among climbers who have good mountaineering knowledge. The approach is through the ancient village of Jagatsukh and the nearest town is Manali to do this trek.

 

Day 1: Arrival Delhi.

 

Day 2: Delhi - Manali (530KM / 14 Hrs.)

 

Day 3: Manali - Arrival at Manali by morning time. On arrival transfer to hotel for relax and acclimatise. In the afternoon visit Hadimba temple and in the evening enjoy at mall road. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 4: Manali to Prini Drive trek to panduRupa 2800 Mtrs.

 

Day 5: Panduropa to Marhi (3300m. Apprx.) - 4 hours trek through breathtaking landscape, through the meadow surrounded by high mountain ranges to just below the Hamta Pass, on a grassy bank slope. In impressive surroundings, close to Tokru-Shakru peaks. Here rock assumes wonderful colours. Once you reach before top of the Marhi, one can see a wonderful panorama of the Dhauladhar range and Pir Panjal range of lower Himalayas and their confluence at Rohtang pass after that is the middle Himalayas and further stretches greater Himalaya. At top of the Marhi you can have a splendid views of Hanuman tibba (5930 Mts.), Tentu Pass, Makar-bey and group of summits around Beas kund and also landscape of Bara Bhangal Region.

 

Day 6: Marhi - Piyangniru (3900m.Apprx.) 4 hours as we trek ahead, the mountains get closer and closer. The whole area is surrounded by high summits, hanging glacier, and massive moraine. This is true alpine zone that we are trekking in. After having evening tea, we spend time in exploring the surroundings as we trek close to the Base camp of Deo Tibba. We can go up to 4000 Mts. and more and return back to Piyangniru (camp) by evening.

 

Day 7: Piyangniru - Raurikhaudi (3300m). 5 hours Trek gets little steeper in the beginning and after that all the way descend down to Raurikhaudi. On the way, one can have a good scenic beauty of a small mountain tarn in the meadow, where local Shepard’s of Kullu Valley graze their herds of sheep goat. One can have a splendid view of the Kullu and Manali valley. And it is also said to be a place, where Pandavas tried to build up the .

 

Day 8: Raurikhaudi to Prini.

 

Day 9: Manali to Delhi.
